So, how on earth did I end up at Juiceria, a healthy juice bar that serves vegan food? Was it because I finally realized my health levels were at an embarrassing low? Partly, yes, but mostly because of the interior because MY GOD JUICERIA HAS THE PRETTIEST AESTHETIC EVER, and if you know me, you know I'm easily drawn to pretty places.

Although Juiceria is generally enjoyed by health buffs, it's still a good place to chill, meet with friends, study and work. See those books above the seats? Those are free to read, and Juiceria's taste in books is pretty impressive. You'll find lots of interesting books on design, self-help and (of course) healthy food. Laptop users will also be glad to find that there are charging spots almost everywhere.

I used to think that healthy food, specifically vegan food, tasted terrible, but turns out I was completely wrong. I ordered a Blossom Berry Smoothie (strawberries, banana, chia, almond milk), Good Ol' PB & J (homemade peanut butter, tomato jam, banana, honey, chia seeds), and Detox Bowl (matcha, almond milk, banana, granola) and liked all of them, especially the smoothie. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich tasted weird at first because it was on activated charcoal sourdough bread, but I eventually learned to love its taste. Their food choices will definitely taste foreign to people who aren't used to healthy food, but they're excellent introductions to healthy eating.
Juiceria also sells bottled juices for people on-the-go. They come in super cute reusable bottles, too. Check out Juiceria's complete menu here.
